Life Coaching

I was once asked “What is life coaching?” Having experienced the benefits of life coaching myself, I know the value, but struggled to explain it. This of course gave me reason to sit with this question for some time and develop my opinion on what Life Coaching is. Here is my perspective on Life Coaching and what you can expect to experience.

Life coaching is about having some one stand as source for you to reach for what you are looking for in life. Consider this; in any sport, we openly accept having a coach to guide, train and lead the players, yet when it comes to “Life” we assume we must figure this out on our own.

A football coach develops strategies for the team, drills fundamentals, tracks progress, pushes expectations, requires accountability of each player and sees what the players do not see in themselves and stands as source for the possibility of any victory.

A “Life Coach” does just this for you.

I’ve always loved the perspective of Marianne Williamson in her poem “Our Deepset Fear”

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.”

Rudius Quest Coaching is about doing the work to uncover the power inside each of us that we fear, yet know is the source for a life of true fulfillment.
